How to play Number Recall
Try Number Recall at your own pace and keep its objective in view. Reproduce each number exactly. A wrong answer ends the current session. Look at what changes after your first action. Identify the playing area and the controls you need. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.
Build a steady rhythm
Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round. Notice the feedback after each input.
Your goal
Reproduce each number exactly. A wrong answer ends the current session. The feedback beside the game helps you follow the round. Check the rules when you are unsure.
Step by step
- Select Start again to begin.
- Memorise the displayed number without entering it yet.
- After it disappears, type the number into the answer field.
- Choose Check number; a correct answer opens the next round.
Controls
Use the on-screen controls with a mouse or touch. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. Check any mode label before starting.
A useful example
If the number is 3072, enter all four digits in order. Entering 372 misses the zero. Compare this with the rule that governs the move. Take a moment to compare.
Watch out for this
This is a memory game, not a clinical assessment. Check the rule before repeating the action. After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again.
