How to play Bubble Shooter

Try Bubble Shooter at your own pace and keep its objective in view. Clear the hanging bubbles before they reach the lower boundary. Use the example below to understand a decision. Begin with the solo mode shown on the page. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.

Original hexagonal matching board and bouncing projectiles.

Focus on one rule

Choose one rule to keep in mind for this round. Apply it consistently rather than guessing what another version might allow. Notice the feedback after each input.

Your goal

Clear the hanging bubbles before they reach the lower boundary. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Review the board or playing area as it changes.

Step by step

  1. Aim and fire.
  2. Attach bubbles to the cluster.
  3. Groups of three or more equal colours disappear.
  4. Floating groups drop; five misses lower the ceiling.

Controls

Pointer/touch aim, angle controls and Fire. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. Use one clear input at a time.

A useful example

Removing one support can drop a larger mixed-colour group below it. Your next round may have a different position, so inspect it before acting. Verify the rule before continuing.

Watch out for this

Contact with a different colour is not a match. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart.
